Yes, In the month of March 2025, US Government announced that around 300 alleged gang members of Tren de Aragua will be deported to El Salvador to be imprisoned in CECOT sing the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. For this, the Donald Trump administration have paid Salvadoran government US$6 million to hold the 300 prisoners for one year as per El Salvador’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
